OTOL Texas-Oklahoma RailFest 202x will be another huge event. We will ride transit in many cities, including the streetcars in El Paso and Oklahoma City. On the Amtrak side, we will ride the TEXAS EAGLE and HEARTLAND FLYER. Commuter Rail in the Fort Worth area is also on the agenda.
Day 1 - Friday
Depart from Chicago mid-afternoon on southbound TEXAS EAGLE.
Day 2 - Saturday
In travel.
Day 3 - Sunday
Arrive in El Paso, TX in the early afternoon. Ride El Paso Streetcar in late afternoon. Overnight in El Paso.
Day 4 - Monday
Leave El Paso mid-afternoon on northbound TEXAS EAGLE.
Day 5 - Tuesday
Arrive Fort Worth, TX in mid-afternoon. Overnight in Fort Worth.
Day 6 - Wednesday
Ride TexRail in morning hours. Leave Fort Worth late afternoon on northbound HEARTLAND FLYER to Oklahoma City. Overnight in Oklahoma City.
Day 7 - Thursday
Ride Oklahoma City Streetcar. Overnight in Oklahoma City.
Day 8 - Friday
Leave Oklahoma City in morning on southbound HEARTLAND FLYER to Fort Worth. Board northbound TEXAS EAGLE in Fort Worth mid-afternoon.
Day 9 - Saturday
Arrive in Chicago mid-afternoon on TEXAS EAGLE.
