OTOL Missouri-Texas RailFest 2017: St Louis Fares

Our official trips on Metro St. Louis Metrolink will take place throughout the day on Monday, July 17th. A list of all fares is located here. The base fare per trip is $2.50 . A half-price discounted fare of $1.25 is available for children ages 5-12, and to seniors (65 and over) and disabled. However seniors and disabled are subject to conditions mentioned here, whereby a permit may be needed.
Our official Fest travel on Monday will require 8 segments on Metrolink, which would total $20 for the day (plus any individual travel you may need to do to & from your hotel). The discounted fare would come to $10 for the day (plus any individual travel). In addition, there is available a Two Hour Pass for $3.00 that would be valid two hours from time of sale; you might be able to combine 2 or 3 of the $2.50 segments into one $3 fare depending on the length of various trips. A discounted Two Hour Pass for children 5-12, seniors and disabled costs $1.50 . The downside of the Two Hour Pass is that some of its validity period would be lost during layovers, meal breaks, and time waiting between train connections, so that option is not included in the chart below.
However, there is a Day Pass you can purchase from fare vending machines for $7.50 good all day. This will save quite a bit, and require only one trip to a vending machine. If you need to travel on Metrolink to your hotel after arrival on Sunday night, it would cost you an additional $2.50 for that trip. Purchase your Day Pass before you begin travel for the day, either as we begin our Fest travels, or from a station near your hotel if you need to ride Metrolink to join us.
