Angels Flight

A funicular on Bunker Hill in downtown Los Angeles, which was in operation 1901-1969, 1996-2001, and 2011-2013. Currently closed since a 2013 derailment, it may reopen soon.

Official homepage of Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA or Metro for short), which currently runs 2 heavy rail lines, 4 light rail lines, and numerous bus routes throughout the area.

Official homepage of the Southern California Regional Rail Authority, known as Metrolink, which runs commuter service on many lines eminating from Los Angeles Union Station, as well as one suburb to suburb line that does not serve Los Angeles. Service runs 5 days a week on most lines, and some have weekend service as well.
