Official homepage of the National Railroad Passenger Corporation. Rochester is served daily by Empire Service, the Maple Leaf, and the Lake Shore Limited. Springfield is served daily by Shuttles, the Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited, the Vermonter, and 1 or 2 through Northeast Regional trains per day in each direction. |
 
The CTRail Hartford Line provides commuter service between Springfield, Hartford, and New Haven, running in tandem with Amtrak's service through the Connecticut River Valley. It connects with CTRail Shore Line East and Metro North Railroad's New Haven Line in New Haven, as well as Amtrak. |
