Here's a special Fest we had, to celebrate what New Jersey has to offer. It began and ended out of the state, but in the interim we rode PATCO heavy rail, NJ TRANSIT's RiverLINE diesel light rail, NJ TRANSIT's commuter rail Northeast Corridor Line, NJ TRANSIT's Newark City Subway original route, PATH heavy rail, and NJ TRANSIT's Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (including the new segment from Lincoln Harbor to Tonnelle Avenue in North Bergen, and the track connection that bypasses Hoboken). Unfortunately, the new spur off the Newark City Subway to Broad Street Station was not open yet.
Fifteen of us braved a cold, windy day and rode the rails in three states, spending most of our time in New Jersey.
