OTOL Garden State RailFest 2008 was another fest celebrating what New Jersey has to offer, and of course a little bit of riding in both New York City and Philadelphia as well.
Friday afternoon featured an NJ TRANSIT excursion out to Hackettstown. We went outbound from New York Penn Station on the Montclair-Boonton Line, and then came inbound on the Morristown Line. We then made our way to Newark Penn Station, and then traveled to the Philadelphia area via Amtrak or NJ TRANSIT.
Saturday we took a round trip to Elwyn on SEPTA's R3 Regional Rail line. Then we took a round trip on NJ TRANSIT's Atlantic City Line. We ended our day with dinner in Voorhees, near Lindenwold.
