OTOL New York Area RailFest 2018 wasour annual winter meet, as we returned to the New York City/New Jersey area.
Goals of this event were to experience the two new transit centers in Lower Manhattan (Fulton Center and World Trade Center Oculus), and ride the year-old Second Avenue Subway. Another day featured a tour of the elevated subway lines of the Bronx, much as we did back in 2002. We also threw in some PATH, Metro North, and Amtrak riding as well.
Only Saturday and Sunday activities were planned.
