OTOL Silver Star Raleigh Excursion (SSRE) 2022 was a 2-day round trip between Northeastern cities and Raleigh, NC on Amtrak's Silver Star. Our 52nd event since 2001 was another Amtrak trip with only about 12 hours scheduled in town.
As the COVID-19 pandemic had not totally subsided, this trip remained small and simple. We dined together aboard the Silver Star, and half the group stayed overnight in the Raleigh area.
