Chief RailFest 2012 took place as is customary for our Summer events in mid-July. The chosen itinerary had us meeting in Chicago, riding to Albuquerque on the Southwest Chief. We spent 2 nights in Albuquerque. On the full day there, we rode RailRunner in its entirety. Then back to Chicago on the Southwesf Chief, and 2 nights there before we officially ended the Fest. During our full day and parts of another in Chicago, we rode some CTA, Metra, and the Kenosha Streetcar.
