OTOL Toronto RailFest 2004 was our group's outing for the summer of 2004. Our first meet outside of the United States proved to be something new for everyone, as it included the challenges of crossing the international border and exchanging currency.
Thirteen participants had fun riding commuter trains, heavy and light rail transit, and streetcars in Canada's largest city.
Some participants left New York City a day earlier than the rest in order to ride the short OnTrack commuter rail line in Syracuse, as well as Buffalo's light rail line. One of this trip's disappointments is that we did not get off in Syracuse since our train was late and since heavy rain was falling at the time when we arrived.
